Optimizing Your Cardio to Burn Fat 2x to 3x FASTERDoes doing cardio first thing in the morning on an empty stomach really burn more fat? In one word…YES! Ok, I know you have heard it before and now you are hearing it one more time. Why? Because it has been proven and it works. There are countless studies, backed by plenty of research but more than graphs, charts, studies and stats; it works! How do I know? Plain and simple; when I do cardio activity first thing in the morning on an empty stomach I lose fat. Great news; so will you! Think about this… When you are up and active during the day, you should be eating every 2 ½ - 3 hours. When we go to bed at night and go to sleep, we go almost a full eight hours without eating a thing. When you wake in the morning your body is in a fasting state. This is the ideal time to do cardio. Why? Because you tap directly into your stored body fat (you so desperately want to eliminate) and tap it much faster. This is because your unwanted fat is your primary source of energy and/or fuel at this time of the day. If you get up and eat breakfast or down one of those infamous sugar laden beverages before you do cardio, you are merely working off those breakfast calories and/or all that sugar first and not yet reaching the stored body fat you are working so hard to get rid of.
